Leicester City Runs Out Of Shirts | New Kit Set to Be Released
Leicester City, who will win the Premier League for th first time if they beat Manchester United at Old Trafford on Sunday, have run out of kits.
The official club shop at King Power Stadium in Leicester sold the last of its stock months ago. The same is true for Thailand, the home of the team's owners, where the Leicester City Shirt is also not available anymore.
A team spokesman said that this season's "replica kit sales have broken all records, with unprecedented demand leading to limited availability heading into the final stages of the season.". Puma declined to comment.
But merchandise sales make up only a small fraction of the revenue for the Premier League's smaller clubs. Leicester earned 104 million pounds last season, of which just 2.4 million pounds came from apparel sales, according to team records.
