The Premier League is NOT Getting a New Shirt Font
Despite the league going main sponsor-less amid Barclays' exit and introducing a totally new visual identity, the numbers on the back of next season's Premier League jerseys will remain unchanged.
@deeeyepeepeewhy @BenMoxham_ HI Kyle, We can confirm that the number designs will not change for the 16/17 season keeping the current badge.

This fact has been confirmed both by sportingiD, the company that produces the official numbers and lettering for a number of competitions including the Premier League, and a number of clubs which already started selling their 2016-17 shirts with the old font.
It means that the iconic lion from the previous league logo will remain on the back of the Premier League kits in the 16-17 season and fans won't have to endure a change, possibly for worse.
Are you happy to see that the current Premier League kit font will remain in use for next season? Let us know in the comments below.
