Adidas River Plate 16-17 Special Kit Released

River Plate and its kit supplier Adidas today launched a new fourth kit, which is officially promoted as special kit for their legendary striker Ángel Labruna (Born on September 28 1918), who scored 317 goals for the club and is the player with the most titles won (16). Combining a black base with a white-and-red sash, the new River Plate 16-17 special jersey will be debuted .

This is the new Adidas River Plate 2016-2017 jersey to honor Angel Labruna.

Based on the same template as the current home shirt, the new River Plate fourth kit swaps the traditional white base for black. The Adidas stripes run down the shoulders and sleeves of the River Plate 2016-17 special jersey, while a tricolor sash is present on the front. Rounding off a look that could prove to become an instant classic, the hem of the River Plate 16-17 fourth shirt is red.
