2009 - 2011
Cristiano Ronaldo enjoys a successful start to his Real Madrid stint and receives his very first signature boot, the so-called Safari edition, the year after.
2012 - 2014
In late 2012, Ronaldo received one of his more iconic signature boots. The Mercurial Vapor VIII combined black with blue, pink and white and was used to great success from the start. Several more signature editions based on the Vapor 8 and 9 followed before Ronaldo switched to the first-ever high-collared Mercurial Superfly for the 2014 World Cup.
2014 - 2016
Over the next years, Ronaldo receives numerable special editions based on the Superfly IV, before making the switch to the new Mercurial Superfly V in Summer 2016. Just a few days ago, the first signature edition based on the Nike Mercurial Superfly V was released.
