Beautiful | Skita Released Special Jersey Designed by a Hospitalized Kid

French sportswear manufacturer Skita in collaboration with Allegra Play With Me foundation have just released a special kit, designed by a hospitalized kid.

The sporting goods company made a kid’s dream come through as they turned his design into a real football jersey which is on sale and its profit will go to the Allegra Play With Me foundation.

Skita x Allegra Play With Me Released a Special Jersey

The special kit is a very unique one as it was made and designed to showcase the kid’s drawing without making too many changes to the original idea. The kit was beautifully made combining white as the base color with a bit of blue and red for the logos and details in the collar and sleeve cuffs. Having experience as the kit sponsor for France third division side, Paris 13 Atletico, Skita did excellent work with the special jersey.

Skita picked a drawing from Matthias, a 15-year kid, who is being hospitalized in the hematology department at Trousseau hospital in Paris. The kid was selected out of 20 participants in total from Allegra Play With Me drawing contest which started back in November 2022.

The French-based charity foundation, who offers a digital escape for hospitalized children, staged the drawing contest for the kids with the theme “Together We Dream”. After receiving at least 20 candidates, it was Matthias who eventually got picked as the winner by the judges, sponsors, and the kids themselves.

The special jersey itself will be worn in any sporting or e-sport events associated with or held by Allegra Play With Me charity in the future. Moreover, the 20 kids who are participating in the drawing contest will also be getting it.

Skita x Allegra Play With Me Kit On Sale for €40

Skita also made the jersey available for pre-sale on their online shop and it retails at €40, with the profit going to Allegra in support of their activities for hospitalized children. Although the concept of turning kids' designs into a jersey is not anything new, it's still an excellent effort made by the sportswear and Allegra Play With Me.

Recently we also reported on Everton and Hummel creating a special jersey based on kids' design, although they were not hospitalized and were simply part of the Premier League side's college program.
