West Ham To Sign Umbro Kit Deal?

West Ham United will sign a five-year kit deal with Double Diamond brand Umbro from 2015, according to West Ham fan @jd_whufc. The fan claimed that he talked with a member of West Ham United’s marketing department during West Ham's 2-1 win over Manchester City on Saturday. The West Ham marketing member would have confirmed that Umbro signed a five-year West Ham kit deal beating Nike and Puma.

Adidas and West Ham signed a two-year shirt deal in May 2013, while the Adidas West Ham contract will expire in Summer 2015.

Umbro already made the West Ham United Kits for the 2007-08, 2008-09 and 2009-10 seasons. The new West Ham United Umbro Kit Deal is reported to start from the 2015-16 season and will run at least until 2020, according to @jd_whufc.

Should this prove correct, Umbro will supply the kits for three Premier League teams, after they signed a long-term Everton Kit deal as well as a four-year kit deal with Hull City in early 2014.
