Chelsea 16-17 Away Kit Released

The Chelsea 2016-17 away shirt introduces a bold design for the London club, combining dark tones with bright yellow accents. The Chelsea 16-17 away kit was released this morning.

Made by long-term kit supplier Adidas, the Chelsea 2016-2017 home, away and third kits feature the logo of main sponsor Yokohama Rubber for the second time. The Japanese become Chelsea's jersey sponsor in early 2015, taking over from Samsung.

The Chelsea 16-17 away kit is mostly black, while a garish yellow (Solar Yellow) is utilized for all Adidas, Chelsea and sponsor logos. Unique grey hoops with a cotton-like effect feature on the Adidas Chelsea away jersey.

Just like on the other Chelsea 2016-17 football shirts, the Yokohama sponsor logo includes the tyres annex seen on the current Chelsea kit.

The shorts and socks of the new Chelsea away kit are also black with garish yellow Adidas and Chelsea FC logos, as well as grey trim.
