Manchester City 16-17 Third Kit Released

Manchester City's 16-17 third kit is anything but usual, boasting orange and purple as main colors, with white and black used for trim. The new Manchester City 2016-2017 third jersey was unveiled by players and fans today. Once again based on a global Nike template as in the previous two seasons, the new Man City third kit reflects the city's status as a hub for music, style and sport.

The new Manchester City 16-17 home, away and third kits are the first to feature the new club crest which was unveiled in late 2015. Etihad Airways continues as main sponsor for the new Manchester City 2016-17 shirt.

Both the Nike and Etihad logos on the front of the Made City 16-17 third kit are white. Based on Nike's Vapor kit template with AeroSwift technology, the Manchester City 2016-17 third shirt sees a black line run down on each side.

In the first season in which Manchester City uses its new club logo, Nike and the club decided to use the original, colored version of it on the Manchester City 2016-2017 third kit.

The shorts of the Manchester City 16-17 third kit will also be purple (officially 'Persian Violet'), while the color of the socks is not known at the moment.

The Manchester City 2016-17 third kit will be the first time for Manchester City to sport an orange shirt in away games since the 2008-09 season, when the away kit was orange with navy and yellow trim.
