Following on Daily Mail's exclusive report, Dating app Tinder has confirmed to several media outlets that it is in talks with Manchester United over a potential "partnership". Reports of a £12m-a-year deal for Tinder's logo to appear on the vacant space on United's shirt sleeves have been dismissed by the company.

Sky Sports News understands Tinder is in negotiations with other Premier League clubs about sponsorship opportunities, while Manchester United also remain in constant discussions with various companies over potential partnerships.
Manchester United is set to sign a deal with dating app Tinder to become its sleeve sponsor from the start of the new season, according to the Daily Mail.
The Premier League allows teams to sign individual sleeve sponsors starting with the 2017-2018 season. These sponsors will feature on the left sleeve, with the league patch placed on the opposite side.

According to the report, Manchester United and Tinder have had sponsorship discussion, with the deal reported to be worth GBP 12 million per year. This would easily catapult it to the top of the ranks in terms of sleeve sponsorships, ahead of Manchester City's GBP 10 million Nexen Tire contract.
Tinder has more than 50 million users globally and already signed a sponsorship deal with Napoli and the Italian club's striker Arkadiusz Milik.

Additionally, the left sleeve patch will update dynamically, changing for every matchday during the group stage and continuing to update for each knockout round from the round of 32 through to the final.
