Club América Centenary Logo Leaked
Club America will celebrate its 100th anniversary next year with a special crest, set to be used throughout the 2016 Liga MX season. The new Nike Club America 2016-2017 jerseys will also be inspired by the tradition and legacy of the club.
Club América Centenary Crest
This image shows the new Club América logo to commemorate the club's 100th anniversary.
Informed by the very first Club America crest from 1916, the new Club América Centenario badge features a retro look in pale yellow and navy. The iconic image of the American continent is visible in the center of the 2016 Club America logo, albeit in a less pronounced coloring than on the contemporary crest.
The club initials are moved towards the border of the crest and are colored navy instead of red. Also different from the current logo, the Club America logo to celebrate the 100th anniversary comes with a bolder border around the yellow circle.
Last but not least, the writing "Centenario de Leyenda - 1916-2016" (Centenary of Legend - 1916-2016) can be read along the sides of the Club América 2016 badge.
