Gambling Ban: Santos Announce Agibank as New Main Sponsor Until End of 2026
Santos FC have officially confirmed Brazilian digital bank Agibank as their new front-of-shirt sponsor for the remainder of the 2026 season. The short-term agreement covers the final eight rounds of the Brasileirão and sees the financial institution take over the prime advertising slot on the club's Umbro shirts.
The swift move comes after Santos were forced to suspend their sponsorship deal with betting company Novibet following the Brazilian federal government's Provisional Measure, which introduced a nationwide ban on sports betting operations and advertising. Santos are the second major Brazilian club to find an immediate replacement after the government decree, following Corinthians' recent short-term agreement with Shopee.
Agibank makes its debut on Santos' jerseys this Sunday, October 18, when the team faces Fluminense at the Maracanã. The deal marks Agibank's return to football sponsorship after more than eight years away.
