With the launch of their fan-voted third kit, Puma and Manchester City have officially unveiled the club's 2026-27 third kit pre-match collection. While the match kit adopted the winning clean design from the PUMA AI Creator competition, the pre-match shirt takes a much bolder approach by mashing up the runner-up entries.

The Puma Manchester City 26-27 third pre-match shirt "celebrates the creative concepts generated during the club's AI contest launched in December 2024." Over 180,000 unique submissions were created by fans worldwide, which were eventually narrowed down to ten finalists. Rather than letting the other nine shortlisted entries go unused, Puma combined elements from all the defeated finalists into a single multi-panel graphic.
The shirt features a mix of vertical stripes containing painted brush textures, topographical wave patterns, and varying shades of sky blue and navy against a white base. It also incorporates mismatched sleeves, totally completing a look that is anything but beautiful.
