Adidas has unveiled a groundbreaking speed boot prototype dubbed the Crazylight Pro at its Home of Innovation showcase in Herzogenaurach. Developed in close collaboration with Real Madrid forward Rodrygo, who challenged the Three Stripes design team to produce an even lighter silhouette, the concept remarkably weighs in at under 90 grams. This staggering figure comfortably breaks the record set by the famous Adizero 99g, making it potentially the lightest football boot ever created.
Adidas Crazylight Pro Concept
Visually, the Adidas Crazylight Pro 2026 soccer boots boast an ultra-futuristic aesthetic in a white, solar red, and black colorway. The upper is built from an ultra-thin, semi-translucent material supported by dynamic curving external skeleton lines across the forefoot and midfoot to provide essential structure without excess bulk. Underneath, Adidas engineered a chrome skeletal outsole with an organic web-like frame that anchors the studs, leaving large sections open to expose a translucent red base plate and drastically cut down weight.
For now, the Adidas Crazylight Pro remains an experimental concept rather than a confirmed commercial retail launch. However, with the brand continuing to push the limits of lightweight engineering under its 'Future of Speed' vision, elements of this radical skeletal construction could easily filter into upcoming generations of the Adidas F50 lineup.
