In a groundbreaking move for the football shirt community, Footy Headlines is officially teaming up with Kit Creator and sportswear manufacturer JerseyBird to bring digital concept designs to life.
Footy Headlines x Kit Creator x JerseyBird 2026 Kit Launch
For the very first time, we are producing a highly limited run of physical kits based directly on the winning designs from the recent JerseyBird Series Vol. 1: National Pride Kit competition. Following an incredibly competitive tournament, we can confirm the three stunning concepts that will be manufactured: the winning Egypt kit by benchedReworks, the runner-up Vietnam kit by leyalmighty, and a special Admin's Choice award given to the semi-finalist Pakistan kit designed by RB10.
This collaborative release is strictly limited to just 50 physical units per design, making them incredibly rare collector's items. We are aiming for the absolute highest tier of manufacturing, matching the elite "player issue" authentic quality seen from brands like Nike and Adidas. This means fans can expect bespoke, high-performance fabrics alongside premium heat-applied crests and logos. To make this project as accessible as possible for the community, we will be selling this initial batch strictly at cost price - covering only the manufacturing and shipping fees - meaning we are actively taking a loss to get these physical shirts into your hands.
The designs have been professionally prepared for production by the talented designer rglrdesign.
Crucially, this project is built around rewarding the incredibly talented designers within our community. The three selected creators will each receive $250 USD, plus up to five free physical editions of their own manufactured kit.
If this initial launch proves to be a success, we have massive plans to expand this initiative further, potentially opening the door for all creators to have their very own digital designs professionally produced.
The launch of these first three kits is coming soon, so stay tuned.
Which of the Egypt, Vietnam, or Pakistan designs are you hoping to secure, and would you like concept creators to have their designs produced in real life in "authentic-grade" quality? Let us know in the comments below.
