Dutch Eerste Divisie side MVV Maastricht have officially unveiled their new 2026-27 home kit. Made by Robey, it is the first home shirt of the Dutch brand's partnership with the club, replacing Nike as MVV Maastricht's official kit supplier from the 2026-27 season.

MVV Maastricht 2026-27 Home Kit

This is the new Robey MVV Maastricht home shirt for the 2026-27 season.

The Robey MVV Maastricht 2026-27 home shirt retains the club's iconic red-and-white colour scheme, combining a red body with contrasting white sleeves. The design incorporates a subtle tonal graphic inspired by the star from the club crest, adding a modern touch to the club's classic home look.

The Robey MVV Maastricht 2026-27 home kit features a white V-neck collar with thin red striping, while matching sleeve cuffs complete the design. A "1902" inscription on the front of the collar pays tribute to the club's founding year.

The Robey MVV Maastricht 2026-27 home shirt carries an embroidered angel standing behind the club's iconic star shield on the back of the collar, accompanied by the "VEER ZIEN MVV" inscription as a tribute to MVV Maastricht's heritage. The Robey logo, MVV Maastricht crest and TCC. sponsor logo are all rendered in white, reinforcing the shirt's clean and understated appearance against the red base.

The MVV Maastricht 2026-27 home shirt is completed with white shorts and white socks, both featuring red detailing to complement the shirt and create a cohesive look.

In recent years, Spain's Royal Decree 958/2020 banned betting advertising in sport, forcing teams like Inter Milan to drop Betsson.sport and VfB Stuttgart to wipe Winamax from their chests during visits to Spanish grounds.

Rather than leaving the chest completely blank, several clubs choose to use these matches for charitable causes or secondary sponsors. FC Copenhagen notably replaced Unibet with the Danish Red Cross, while Celtic routinely substitute long-term sponsor Dafabet with the Celtic FC Foundation whenever they travel to nations like Italy or Spain. Aston Villa similarly replaced Betano with financial app Acorns for trips to Switzerland. As advertising regulations across Europe continue to tighten, these temporary kit makeovers remain a regular and fascinating feature of continental football.

Atlético Mineiro has officially revealed the winning design for the 26-27 Manto da Massa kit, created in partnership with Nike. Following a fan vote that generated more than 30,000 votes, the third finalist model, titled "A tradição que permanece", won emphatically with 17,878 votes (59%). The final design was developed by Nike based on input and suggestions submitted by more than 10,000 club members.

The Nike Atlético Mineiro 26-27 Manto da Massa shirt introduces a bold departure from traditional vertical stripes, featuring wide horizontal black and white hoops inspired by the large flags waved by supporters in the stands. The look is elevated by metallic gold accents on the overlapping V-neck collar, sleeve cuffs, side seam piping, and the embroidered Nike Swoosh. Completing the retro aesthetic, the left chest features the club's historic 1950 crest alongside the iconic anthem motto "Uma vez até morrer."

In a historic first for the initiative, the 26-27 Manto da Massa shirt will actually be worn by the first team in an official match during the 2027 season. The kit is priced at R$399.99 across men's, women's, and children's versions, with exclusive pre-sales launched for Galo Na Veia members before opening to the general public.

Mexican giants Cruz Azul have unveiled a bespoke font on their 26-27 kits in support of Breast Cancer Awareness Month ("Octubre Rosa"). As part of a long-standing tradition across Liga MX each October, clubs incorporate pink detailing into their match gear to promote awareness, prevention, and early detection of the disease.

Crafted for their 26-27 Pirma home and goalkeeper jerseys, the custom numbers showcase a striking pink and white mosaic inspired by the club's iconic cross motif. At the base of each digit, the pattern subtly shapes into the awareness ribbon. Inside the numbering, the official Cruz Azul crest sits above "Número Oficial 2026-2027" text, while the player names are rendered in matching pink lettering framed with a crisp white border.

The special font was seen on match-prepared jerseys in the locker room for players including Alan Mozo, goalkeeper Kevin Mier, and forward Christian Ebere. Cruz Azul are wearing the commemorative typography across their Liga MX Apertura matches throughout October.
