Sporting KC 2014 Away Jersey Released

The new Sporting Kansas City 2014 Away Kit was released yesterday. The Defending MLS Cup champions unveiled a new hooped away shirt for the next season, which features similar colors as the home kit. The stripes of the new Sporting Kansas 2014 Away Jersey are inspired by the Sporting KC crest.

This is the new Sporting KC 2014 Away Jersey.

The shirt is based on the Adidas Regista 14 template with the main color navy. Light blue hoops are placed on the front of the kit, which are inspired by the Sporting Kansas badge. Another unique element is the checkered pattern on the crest and the gold star above the team logo representing the MLS Cup 2013 champions.

“As with all our kits, the new secondary jersey reflects the essence of our brand,” said John Moncke, Sporting Kansas City’s Vice President of Merchandise. “The style is influenced by fashion trends and we feel strongly that it will look great both on and off the pitch. When you look at our three kits, they are all very different from each other but together they look like a collection."
