In early July 2015, Puma already revealed a White / Gold Puma King Lothar Matthäus Cleat to honor the 25-years anniversary of Germany's World Cup title. And while the first Puma King Lothar Matthäus Signature Boot was limited to 25 pairs globally and not available to purchase, fans of classic boots can now grab their hands on the black Puma King Lothar Matthäus 1990 Soccer Cleat.

This is the new Puma King Lothar Matthäus Boot.

The new limited edition Puma King Lothar Matthäus 2015 Boot features a classic fold-over tongue, as worn by Lothar Matthäus throughout his career. The tongue is detachable allowing for a classic or more modern design.

The Puma King Lothar Matthäus Boot is mainly black with the classic white Puma Formstripe on the instep and the lateral side of the boot, while the King logo is silver. On the heel counter is Lothar Matthäus' autograph as well as a black and golden badge with the lettering "1990-2015 - 25th anniversary".

But the new Lothar Matthäus Boots not only celebrate Germany's World Cup title, but also honor the club were Matthäus won a Serie A title and UEFA Cup. Therefore, the inner side of the tongue is silver with a special inscription, while the inner sole boasts the famous black and blue stripes of Inter Milan.

Tech-wise, the upper of the new Puma King Lothar Matthäus Boots is made from super soft Kangaroo leather for ultimate comfort, while the white sole plate features traditional conical studs for traction on Firm Ground surfaces.

The new Black / Puma Silver / Blue Puma King Lothar Matthäus Soccer Boots are limited to 1990 pairs globally, and retail at a price of 150 GBP (212 Euro, 200 USD).
