Unusual Combo | Arsenal Debuts Third Kit
Around two months after its release, Arsenal has finally debuted its 15-16 third kit by Puma tonight, and it wasn't even really necessary. Playing against blue-and-white Sheffield Wednesday, Arsenal could have perfectly used its red home kit or its golden away kit.
Arsenal 15-16 Third Kit Debut
Nevertheless, the Gunners went with the anthracite Arsenal 15-16 third kit, which supporters already deemed surplus due to its color upon its release. On top of all that, Arsenal had to revert to an immensely unusual anthracite-turquoise-turquoise combination of shirt, shorts and socks, in order to avoid a clash with Wednesday's black trousers.
Playing in the Capital One Cup, Arsenal could use its smart Art Deco-inspired 15-16 shirt numbers instead of the Premier League's uniform type, opting for turquoise in color. Gold accents round off the clean look of the Arsenal 15-16 third shirt, with the turquoise shorts and numbers carrying on the same design.
