Nike Tiempo Legend VI iD Boots Available

The Nike Tiempo Legend VI is finally available and the iD version followed suit immediately. It's already possible to try out the near-endless possibilities on NikeiD, including the all-new sole plate customization Nike hinted about at the Nike Tiempo Legend 6 launch event.

Update 13/12/15: Nike today revealed the first real pictures of the Nike Tiempo Legend 6 iD Boots, including a close-up picture of the sole plate featuring the lettering Lewis to showcase the all-new id customization outsole option that replaces the standard Tiempo and Swoosh brandings.

Unveiled last week, the Nike Tiempo Legend VI boots introduce a new internal support skeleton. Headlines by players like Jerome Boateng, Sergio Ramos and Gerard Pique, the Nike Tiempo Legend 6 cleats were launched in an understated Pure Platinum colorway.

Here are a few Nike Tiempo Legend 6 soccer cleats created with Nike iD.

Seven solid and three 'Pearl' base colors are available for the all-new Nike Tiempo Legend VI iD soccer boots, while different hues can be selected for the 'Heel Base', laces, Swoosh, Swoosh border and sole plate. This makes for almost infinite possibilities, especially with the ability to add even more personalized features in the form of short and long iDs, as well as country flags.

All that is fairly well known from Nike's other iD football boots, though, and Nike has prepared a world first in terms of customization for the Nike Tiempo Legend VI boots. For the first time, a customized text (5 letters, left side) and number (2 digits, right side) can be added on the sole plate of the Nike Tiempo Legend 6 iD boots, replacing the Swoosh and Tiempo writing of the stock model. Unfortunately, it doesn't come with the same effect as the original and doesn't cover the whole plate.

Available for $250 compared to $210 for the standard model, the Nike Tiempo Legend VI iD cleats will take up to five weeks in delivery, due to their custom build.
