Design: The new Porto 16-17 home kit features a modern take on their classic blue and white stripes, drawing inspiration from their 1987 European Cup win and the stadium's blue tiles.
Features: The shirt has a v-neck collar, blue stripes down the sleeves, and internal detailing of the club's anthem, designed with New Balance's NB Dry fabric for performance.
Sponsor: The new shirt prominently displays the Meo logo on the front, who became the club's shirt sponsor in late 2015.

The new Porto 16-17 shirt introduces a stunning design. It was launched today and has Meo on the front, who became Porto's shirt sponsor in late 2015.

General Manager of New Balance Football, Richard Wright said: "This kit is the perfect blend of modern design and rich heritage. It has been engineered to fit the body’s in-game movement perfectly, while better ventilation and body temperature regulation have been built into the NB Dry fabric. Players will not only feel the difference this makes, but are playing in a kit inspired by champions."

Porto 16-17 Home Jersey

This is the new New Balance Porto 16-17 shirt.

The new Porto 2016-17 jersey incorporates the famous stripe design from the victorious 1987 European Cup Final win and also includes a part of FC Porto´s anthem "‘Porto! Porto! Porto!’" to the internal hem of the jersey. The iconic stripes feature gradient tones of blue, influenced by the depth of blue tiles that adorn the Estádio do Dragão stands.

A classical collar with a remarkable blue v-design and a blue stripe that runs down the sleeves of the New Balance Porto 16-17 home kit round off the kit that also has a large white color block on the back to make space for the shirt numbers.

FC Porto player André André said: "I love the new home kit. We’re always extremely proud to wear our iconic blue and white stripes, but it’s great to see they’ve been refreshed and have a modern look. I can’t wait to wear this kit, and I know the fans will love it too."
