FK Rostov 16-17 Adidas Kits Revealed
Update: Ahead of a surprisingly clear 5-2 aggregate win over Ajax, FK Rostov unveiled its 'real' kits for the new campaign. Made by Adidas, they are based on the brand's Condivo 16 template.
FK Rostov's meteoric rise has prompted Adidas to snap up the team, and it has proven to be a good move by the Three Stripes so far. Wearing the first-ever jerseys unveiled as part of the new agreement, Rostov trumped fellow Adidas team Anderlecht to reach the 2016-17 Champions League play-offs, the last qualifying round prior to the group stage.
FK Rostov 16-17 Home Kit
The new Rostov 2016-2017 home jersey was worn during the 4-1 win over Ajax in the return leg.
Predominantly blue, the new Rostov home kit is based on the Adidas Condivo 16 template. It has a simple v-neck collar and sees the brand's iconic stripes run down both sides. The sleeve cuffs of the Rostov 16-17 kit, which is combined with blue shorts and socks, are blue.
Rostov 16-17 Away Kit
This is the Rostov 2016-17 away kit, made by Adidas.
Also based on the Condivo 16 template, the new Rostov 2016-2017 away shirt is yellow with a v-neck and blue Adidas stripes running down both sides. It is combined with shorts and socks in the same style.
FK Rostov 2016-17 Kit - Early
This is the kit worn by Rostov against Anderlecht.
Interestingly, the new Rostov jersey is based on Adidas' Tiro 15, originally a training template. Featuring the brand's adizero technology, the Adidas FK Rostov 16-17 kit comes in the club's traditional blue and yellow.
The Adidas stripes run down both sleeves of the Rostov 2016-2017 jersey in yellow, which is also used for trim on the hem of the shirt. A simple crew neck and subtle pinstriping on the upper front round off the pretty smart look of the Rostov 16-17 home shirt. It is complemented with shorts and socks in the same style.
