EA Sports Unveils Full FIFA 17 Ratings - Messi Loses Top Spot

Culminating in the reveal of the three highest-rated players in FIFA 17, EA Sports has unveiled the 50 best players in its upcoming soccer video game over the last few weeks. And this last part was most probably the most surprising.

Ronaldo Takes FIFA 17 Top Spot

After many years as second highest-rated player in the FIFA series, Real Madrid's Cristiano Ronaldo rightfully overtook Lionel Messi, who had an off-year, thanks to winning the Champions League and Euro, with decisive performances in both finals. No wonder he's tipped to win a third Ballon d'Or in January.

Neymar, Messi's team mate at Barcelona, completes the podium, while the likes of Luis Suárez, Gareth Bale or Zlatan Ibrahimovic appear on ranks 7-4. You can check out the full FIFA 17 Top 50 on EA Sports' website.
