Black Nike Mercurial Vapor 11 Dark Lightning Boots Released
Nike rounds off the year for their speed silo with a predominantly black colorway. Officially labeled as 'Black / Electric Green / White', the new black Nike Mercurial Vapor XI Dark Lightning soccer cleats were released in November 2016 and will be worn by Nike's most popular Vapor players including Luka Modric.

Predominantly black, the last Nike Mercurial Vapor 11 Dark Lightning soccer shoe colorway of the year comes without the Mercurial Vapor XI's trademark gradient but features a set of lines in green and blue. Brandings such as the Swoosh on the first-ever black colorway for the Nike Mercurial Vapor XI are white, while striking red studs completing the design.
In terms of tech, the black Nike Mercurial Vapor 11 Dark Lightning soccer boots are the same as all previous colorways.The sole plate of the Nike Mercurial Vapor XI soccer cleats was completely reworked compared to that of their predecessors, including an all-new stud layout, while the Teijin upper is similar as before.
The 'Black & Electric Green' Nike Mercurial Vapor 11 2016-2017 boots will be available from November 25, 2016, and retail at $210 (€200, £160). They are included in the Nike Dark Lightning pack.

Germany 2026 World Cup Numbers Announced
Update - June 9, 2026: Retailer subsidesports has created a stunning college image showcasing the Adidas Germany 2026 World Cup typeface, applied to both the kit and the full squad lineup. They have also given us a first look at the new 2026 World Cup sleeve badge on the Germany shirt.

Manuel Neuer retains the number one jersey in goal, with Oliver Baumann at twelve and Alexander Nübel at twenty-one. Defensively, Antonio Rüdiger wears two, Joshua Kimmich six, Nico Schlotterbeck fifteen, and Malick Thiaw twenty-four. On the attacking side, Jamal Musiala takes the ten, Florian Wirtz seventeen, Jamie Leweling nine, and Leroy Sané nineteen.
