UPDATE: How to Buy the New Messi 10/10 Boots

Update #3: Adidas has confirmed the location of the pop-up store as 168 Bowery, New York City. It will open at 4PM local time.

Additionally, it's been confirmed that Soccer.com is the only store to carry the shoes, as the US retailer has opened registration for a chance to purchase one of the few available pairs. How many are available has not been disclosed.

Update #2: Adidas has revealed that its New York City pop-up store will open tomorrow at 1PM local time somewhere in the Lower East Side, New York City. More details are expected to be revealed tomorrow morning.

Update: Everything indicates that Adidas' new Messi 16 10/10 boots will only be sold in the United States, be it through adidas.com, a special Adidas Soccer pop-up store in New York City or 'select US retailers.'

This might come as a surprise for some people, but the new Adidas Messi 16 10/10 boots will actually be available to get elsewhere than Adidas' Barcelona store. This has been confirmed by Soccer.com, the biggest football store in the US.

How to Buy the Adidas Messi 16 10/10?

Due to their extreme scarceness - the 2016 Adidas MeMessi0/10 boots are limited to just 100 pairs - it will be interesting to see how exactly this will play out. Perhaps you will have to win a raffle before you can buy them, or they will only be given away. This was the case for another highly in-demand shoe from Adidas, the Ace 16+ PureControl UltraBoost, in some places, among them Soccer.com.

However, although it was first assumed that the new Messi 16 10/10 cleats would be available in other parts of the world as well, everything now indicates that they will only be sold in the United States. It looks like there will be three ways to obtain one of the just 100 pairs that will be available globally:

• Adidas Soccer pop-up store in New York City
• Adidas.com, likely to be limited to the US site, which does not ship worldwide
• Select US retailers

Adidas Soccer's New York City pop-up store will open at 1PM local time, somewhere in the Lower East Side, Manhattan.

Unfortunately, it is not yet known which quantities will be available in which place, but this post will get updated once we receive more info.

As last year, the new 2016 Adidas Messi 10/10 boots will only be available in Messi's own size, which is a EU 42.5 (US 8.5).

The price of the Adidas Messi 16 10/10 has been confirmed as 400 USD (approx. 360 EUR, 320 GBP).
