Limited-Edition Adidas Ace 17+ PureControl Champagne 2017 Boots Revealed
Adidas' remake of the iconic Predator Champagne boots is accompanied by a special-edition colorway for the Adidas Ace 17+ PureControl model. The Adidas Ace 17+ PureControl Champagne cleats feature the same colors as the Predator and were launched together with it on May 2.
Adidas Ace 17+ PureControl Champagne - Off-White / Red / Core Black
This is the Adidas Ace 17+ PureControl boot from the Adidas Champagne pack.
Part of the Adidas Champagne pack, the off-white Adidas Ace 17+ PureControl 2017 football boots combine the aforementioned base color with black and red accents. This design is closely inspired by the 2002 Adidas Predator Mania Champagne boots.
This history-infused paint job does not influence the tech of the Champagne Pack Adidas Ace 17+ PureControl cleats, however. Designed to offer players a clean surface, the off-white Adidas Ace 17+ PureControl Champagne soccer boots have a laceless construction and a Primeknit upper with a NSG (Non-Stop Grip) texture. Additionally, they boast a Boost midsole and a control outsole with a layout of conical studs.
Available from May 2 in extremely limited quantities, the Adidas Ace PureControl Champagne 2017 boots retail at $330, a bit more than regular colorways of the Ace 17+.
Apart from the odd camo here and there, the Adidas Ace 17+ PureControl Champagne cleats won't receive a whole lot of on-pitch support from the likes of Dele Alli and Mesut Özil.
