New Atletico Madrid 2017-18 Crest Revealed

A new era for Atletico Madrid will commence with the 2017-18 season. Not only will the Colchoneros move to their new 'Wanda Metroplitano' stadium, Atletico Madrid today also unveiled an updated club crest to be used from next summer.

New Atletico Madrid Crest - 17-18

This is the new Atletico crest to be used from the start of the 2017-18 season.

Heavily informed by the current crest, the new Atletico crest for 2017-2018 introduces a subtly simplified design that also sees the respective blue and red hues slightly darkened, and the upper horizontal edge changed into an arch.

The biggest change can be seen on the upper left of the new Atletico Madrid logo, where the 'Bear and the Strawberry Tree', taken from the Madrid coat of arms, was further integrated into the rest of the design and also mirrored and enlarged.
