Adidas today released a stunning Solar Yellow paint job for the Adidas X Purespeed soccer cleat model. The Solar Yellow Adidas X 17+ Purespeed are part of the Adidas Ocean Storm collection.
Adidas X 17+ Purespeed Ocean Storm - Solar Yellow / Legend Ink
This is the yellow Adidas X 17+ Purespeed soccer cleat.
The third colorway for the third generation of the Adidas X is 'Solar Yellow' for the most part, recalling the look of the very first Adidas X that launched in 2015. Not unlike back then, a very dark blue ('Legend Ink') is used as secondary color, such as for the collar and the logos on the sides. The sole plate is matte again, a theme this summer.
The most remarkable tech change between the Adidas X16+ Purespeed and Adidas X 17+ Purespeed football boots is the upper. the Adidas X 17+ Purespeed has a perforated techfit compression upper with a NSG (Non-Stop Grip) texture to improve ball control under all conditions. The upper of the Adidas X 17+ Purespeed boots is lighter than the one of the Adidas X 16+.
The sole plate and stud alignment of the Adidas X 17 Ocean Storm boots are unchanged compared to the previous generation.
Adidas X 17+ Purespeed - Features
- One-piece techfit compression upper
- Faux laceless design
- NSG (Non-Stop Grip) upper texture
- Sprintframe outsole
- 'Chaos' stud alignment
The Solar Yellow Adidas X 17+ Purespeed Ocean Storm cleats will be released on August 3 2017. They retail at EUR 300 (GBP 250, USD 300).
