Adidas Parley LA Galaxy, New York City, Orlando City and Seattle Sounders 2017 Kits Revealed

Teaming up with Parley, the eco company that already brought us special-edition Bayern Munich and Real Madrid uniforms late last year, the MLS today revealed that four of its most important teams (LA Galaxy, New York City, Orlando City and Seattle Sounders) will sport similar garms in their games on Sunday, April 23.

Celebrating Earth Day and the MLS's Greener Goals initiative, the special-edition Adidas Parley kits will be worn in two of Sunday's biggest games. They are based on the most recent Adidas pre-match template, used by the likes of Germany, Real Madrid, Chelsea and many more, and come in white-grey and grey-white, respectively.

Just like the previous Bayern Munich and Real Madrid shirts, the Adidas Parley 2017 MLS kits feature monochromatic club logos, here in each club's respective primary color. An Adidas x Parley jock tag can be seen on the lower left above the hem.

Below you can see the special Adidas x Parley jerseys to be worn by NYCFC and Orlando City this Sunday.

"Every second breath we take is generated by the oceans. And still, we are at war with the sea,” said Cyrill Gutsch, founder of Parley for the Oceans, in a statement. “Now is the time to negotiate peace with our life support and to invent our way out of this mess. Soccer can lead the way. It shows what we can achieve with the right balance of creativity, collaboration and technology."

A collaboration between Adidas and Parley, the special-edition MLS kits are made of recycled ocean waste. It's not expected that the jerseys will be available for sale.
