Gladbach Says Dortmund Kit Stolen
A few people, including on this site, already noticed it before, but the debate on whether the new Borussia Dortmund Puma kit is too similar to the one produced by Kappa for Borussia Mönchengladbach last season gained steam today following an explosive tweet from the latter time.
Dortmund Kit Stolen?
First you try to take 'Borussia' off us, and now this! But the way I wear my hat? No, no. @BVB can’t take that away from me. pic.twitter.com/DPMZX29zh2

Simply embedding the two jerseys next to each other, Gladbach bluntly implied that the design of Dortmund's jersey was stolen from their old one.
We think that there's no denying that a certain similarity exists between the two designs, both in the hooped front and also a bit on the collar. Anyway, there are also a number of differences which ultimately show although that Puma (at most) was inspired by Kappa's work it's definitely not an exact copy.
Another design which might have inspired Puma's new Dortmund kit would be Nike's Pre-match tops for Euro 2016...

Portugal Players to Wear Special Diogo Jota Tribute Bracelets at 2026 World Cup
The Portugal national team will wear special tribute bracelets throughout the 2026 FIFA World Cup in memory of Diogo Jota, who tragically passed away last summer. The initiative comes from Portuguese Prime Minister Luís Montenegro, who personally gifted the custom accessories to the players and staff ahead of the tournament.
Each custom bracelet features the individual player's name alongside Diogo Jota's name, serving as a constant reminder of their late teammate. The squad is set to keep the bracelets on during all of their matches in the World Cup, honoring Jota's legacy on the biggest stage in international football.
