All-New 'Stealth' Nike Flyknit Ultra Football Boot Released
Nike today released the all-new Black / Silver Metallic Nike Flyknit Ultra soccer boots, together with the second launch paint job, the Black and Gold Nike Flyknit Ultra edition, which will be exclusively worn by Hazard.
Nike Flyknit Ultra - Black / Black / Black
This is the Nike Flyknit Ultra soccer boot in black and metallic silver.
A no-nonsense look - like so much from the Swoosh recently - the first Nike Flyknit Ultra soccer cleat colorway has an all-black upper with understated Nike and 'Flyknit Ultra' brandings on the outside. A Distinct pattern of chevrons covers most of the upper. Finally, a dark metallic-silver sole plate rounds off the design.
Features-wise, the Nike Flyknit Ultra cleats are a previews of what's to come for the 2018 World Cup. In a similar way to e.g. the Green Speed 2 boots, which was the brand's first model to feature ACC tech, the Nike Flyknit Ultra football boots can be likened to the all-Flyknit Mercurial Vapor 12 that will be launched early next year.
They have a one-piece Flyknit upper with a low-cut construction and horizontal ridges, similar to Mercurial Vapor 11 and Superfly 5. The boot sits on the outsole known from the current version of the Mercurial, which includes mostly chevron-shaped studs.
Nike Flyknit Ultra - Features
- One-piece Flyknit upper with textured speed ribs
- 3D Speed Plate
- Embossed speed ribs provide ball awareness and control
- Nike Grip system to keep foot from slipping inside the boot.
One of two debut colors, 2,500 pairs of the limited-edition black and silver Nike Mercurial Ultra Flyknit Vapor will be available (1,500 pairs available in a black/metallic gold colorway). The RRP is USD 250 (GBP 200, EUR 250). The black / turquoise and black / red paint jobs we informed about earlier will be released as well, but likely at a later date.

FC Cartagena 26-27 Away Kit Released
Spanish side FC Cartagena and Macron have officially launched their new away kit for the 26-27 season, paying homage to the city's rich three-thousand-year heritage. Draped in traditional carmesí red, the jersey is decorated with an intricate all-over graphic pattern inspired by an ancient Roman mosaic uncovered in the crypt beneath the Catedral de Santa María la Vieja. Elegant gold detailing highlights the monochrome crest, collar trim, sleeve cuffs, and sponsor emblems, completed by the Latin motto Carthago Nova Invicta Est subtly sublimated onto the lower hem.
Nike to Sell Long-Sleeve Besiktas Kits From 27-28 Season
Nike is set to introduce commercially available long-sleeve kits for Beşiktaş starting from the 27-28 season. Following the club's major switch from Adidas after 17 years, supporters will finally have direct access to official long-sleeve match jerseys at retail. Big thanks to @ertansuzgun & @Formaholic.
The timing aligns with significant milestone celebrations in Istanbul, as Nike is also planning a special 125th-anniversary collection for Beşiktaş during the 27-28 campaign to mark the club's foundation in 1903. Rather than relying on base layers and compression undershirts, players and fans alike will see dedicated long-sleeve designs included in the lineup.
The development forms part of Nike's wider strategy to bring back commercial long-sleeve authentic shirts across its elite roster from 27-28 onwards. By expanding long-sleeve availability to Beşiktaş, Nike closes the gap on rivals like Adidas and provides the Black Eagles with full top-tier treatment under their new partnership.
