LEAKED: Nike FTR10 Receives New Name
- Boot Name Change: Nike has renamed the new football boot replacing the Magista from Nike FTR10 (Future 10) to Nike Phantom Vision.
- Possible Reason for Change: The name change may be due to the similarity between the name "Future" and Puma's "Future" soccer cleat.
- Boot Characteristics: The Phantom Vision is designed for offensive midfielders who are fast, agile, and control the game; it will be headlined by Kevin De Bruyne.
Nike has changed the name of the all-new football boot that replaces the Nike Magista, we can exclusively reveal. The boot will not be called Nike Future 10 (Nike FTR10) but Nike Phantom Vision.
Nike Changes FTR10 Boot Name to Nike Phantom Vision
It is not known yet why Nike changed the name of their all-new soccer cleat. The new name (Nike Phantom Vision - Nike Phantom VSN) is no more similar to Puma's all-new soccer cleat, the Puma Future. This could be a reason for Nike to change the name.
The name Phantom Vision describes the modern offensive midfielder that both creates chances and scores goals trough speed, control and agility. Kevin De Bruyne will headline the all-new Nike Phantom Vision football boot.
The new Nike Phantom Vision 2018 soccer shoe is set for a launch shortly after of the 2018 World Cup. The Nike Magista football boot was revealed in March 2014 as the first-ever high-cut knitted football boot.
