Just 2,018 Globally: Revolutionary Adidas Germany 2018 World Cup Knit Home & Away Jerseys Released
Adidas today launched a never-before-seen revolution, the first-ever football jersey made entirely out of Primeknit. The Adidas Germany Knit Jerseys come in the designs of the Germany World Cup home and away kits, while introducing the totally-new Primeknit construction that makes (almost) all seams obsolete.
Adidas Germany 2018 Knit Jersey Home
This is the all-new Adidas Germany 2018 Knit Jersey.
The Adidas Germany 2018 Primeknit Jersey is based on the design of the regular World Cup home shirt while featuring an all-new, one-piece Primeknit construction - even the lettering on the front and back is actually knit and not just printed onto the shirt.
Adidas Germany 2018 Away Knit Jersey Away
The same applies for the teal green Germany Knit Away Jersey. The pattern on the front and sleeves is knit into the fabric, while the construction of the back numbers and name is even more exceptional.
Adidas Germany 2018 Knit Sweater
Finally, there's a sweatshirt in the design of the Germany home shirt, creating using the same knitting technique.
Limited to just 2018 each, the Adidas Germany 2018 Knit Jerseys were launched at Adidas and select retailers on 1 June. They retail at EUR 200 for the short sleeve.
It's just a limited-edition showcase of sorts and Germany will not wear it at the World Cup, but it will be highly interesting to see how Adidas will continue to develop and implement this tech into future releases.
