Real Sociedad Kits to Feature Special Crest to Honor Retiring Captain Xabi Prieto
Spanish side Real Sociedad will honor legendary captain Xabi Prieto, who will end his career after this season and spending the full 14 years of his pro career at the Basque club, in a totally unique and probably never-seen-before way.
A special logo featuring Prieto's face and name will replace the club crest on the kits for the last Liga home game of the season on Saturday against Leganés.
"Xabi has always carried the coat of arms of La Real, and La Real will have him on Saturday as a shield in his last game at the Estadio Anoeta," the club said.
