Nike Air Legend Tiempo Ronaldinho - 2018 Remake vs 2005 Original
With Nike going having re-released the Nike Air Legend R10 football boots today, we compare the 2018 remake and the 2005 original. The Nike Air Legend R10 2018 remake is much less different to the classic 2005 boot than the Nike Tiempo 'Touch of Gold' Ronaldinho boot Nike released in 2015 to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the original cleat.
Nike Tiempo Air Legend R10 - 2018 Remake vs 2005 Original
The upper of the Nike Air Legend R10 2018 boots is the same as the upper of the original Nike Tiempo Air Legend - The upper of the modern Nike Air Legend R10 is made of premium Kangaroo leather, just as the original boot released in 2005.
Another difference is the heel counter. The modern boot features an internal heel counter, while the classic cleat comes with an external one. The shape, construction and size of the tongue are identical. The only difference is the R10 logo on it.
Most importantly, the sole plate and the studs of the Nike Air Legend Ronaldinho 2018 remake and the original are totally different. The Nike Air Legend R10 2018 remake cleats use the current Nike Tiempo Legend VII FG plate, which is much lighter than the classic plate with a Nike Zoom Air insole.
The original Nike Air Legend R10 football boot weighs in at 311 gram (11oz). The remake of the cleats are much lighter, thanks to the sole plate and the missing external heel counter.

The energetic design is complemented by off-white Three Stripes on the shoulders, the classic Adidas Trefoil logo, an ornate heritage Bayern Munich crest, and cream sponsor detailing.
Bukayo Saka and Yan Diomande Debut Whiteout New Balance Furon V9 Boots
Arsenal talisman Bukayo Saka and Real Madrid signing Yan Diomande have both taken to the pitch wearing all-white New Balance Furon V9 boots at the start of the 26-27 campaign. Thanks to @volkyfootballboots.v2 for spotting.
As two of the primary headline athletes for New Balance's flagship speed silo, their synchronized switch away from standard on-pitch colorways to a whiteout look points toward an upcoming limited-edition pack or special release from the American brand in the near future.
It’s normal that brands hide their new flagship-shoes with a whiteout colorway until their release takes place officially, so competitors can’t already get an early glimpse into their newest design.
