If you watched the friendly between France and Uruguay today (or saw images of Mbappe's injury), you might have noticed that Mbappe and all other France players wore a white arm band. Here is why.

France Players Wear White Arm Band Of Bleuet de France

France's players wore a white arm band with the symbol of the Bleuet de France, a National symbol in France of Memory and Solidarity, assistance to veterans, wounded soldiers, widows, Pupils of the Nation and victims of terrorist attacks. It is a symbol to remmeber those who were affected by conflicts such as the World War 1.

In fact, the symbol was already present on the kits in the Ligue 1 some days ago.

English Premier League teams traditionally remember the end of World War I and those who served for the country with a red poppy.
