The 2019 France FIFA Women's World Cup will finally kick off on Friday. Now it has been emerged that the Nike France 2019 Women's World Cup jerseys feature a subtle hint at famous French fashion house Chanel and its iconic N°5 perfume.

Inside the collar of the Nike France 2019 Women's World Cup jerseys is France's national team slogan "Nos Différences Nous Unissent" (Our Differences Unite Us). However, the text is not written in standard letters but the word Nos resembles the famous N°5 logo.

That the Nos is a nod to Chanel is not speculated by us but was officially confirmed by Nike. According to Nike, who were contacted by French boot and kit experts Footpack, the France 2019 WWC kits are designed with the aim of "highlighting the feminine side and French luxury", so the American brand decided to make subtle tribute to one of the perfumes of the brand Chanel, the legendary N°5.
