UPDATE: All Nike 2020 Japanese J League Kits ARE Recycled / The Same - Here Is Why

Update: Completing their line-up for the Japanese J1 League, Nike has now also released the new Sanfrecce Hiroshima 2020 home kit. Like the home jerseys of Kashima Antlers and Urawa Red Diamonds, it does not really feature a bespoke design - it has the same graphic pattern as the jersey of Bundesliga club RB Leipzig.

These days, Nike has revealed their new 2020 kits for their sponsored Japanese J1 League teams - Kashima Antlers, Sanfrecce Hiroshima and Urawa Red Diamonds. However, the new kits for the three teams are not really one-of-a-kind.

Nike 2020 J1 League Kit Designs Taken From Other Clubs

The 2020 home kit of Urawa Reds from Nike boasts a diamond design, while the Kashima Antlers 2020 home kit boasts a Sash look in the club's different colors. Those designs, however, are not unique. Instead, the Urawa Reds has the same pattern as the Zenit 19-20 home jersey, while the Kashima Antlers jersey design is taken from the SC Internacional 19-20 away kit. The Sanfrecce Hiroshima kit has the pattern of the RB Leipzig 19-20 home kit.

Nike J1 League 2020 Away Kits Inspired By Japan & 2020 Tokyo Olympics

It is very obvious that the Nike 2020 away kits for Kashima Antlers, Sanfrecce Hiroshima and Urawa Red Diamonds are identical except the logos - they are all white with red applications, combined with red shorts and socks. There is a reason for that, as revealed by Nike.

With the 2020 Tokyo Olympics on the horizon, Nike unites the three clubs by giving them the same away kit with the colors of the Japanese flag. Inside the collar is the the flag of Japan to round off the look.

Nike did not say why the home kits have the designs of Zenit, Leipzig and SC Internacional (it is nothing unusual that Nike recycles designs).

No More Jako: Adidas Chernihiv 26-27 Home Kit Released

Ukrainian First League club FC Chernihiv have announced a change in kit supplier ahead of the 26-27 season, leaving their previous partner Jako to join forces with Adidas. This marks a new era for the club, who had previously sported bespoke designs created by Jako.

The first release under the new partnership is the FC Chernihiv 26-27 home kit. Moving away from the striking yellow tiger stripe design seen in the 25-26 season, the new Adidas home shirt adopts a more traditional aesthetic, featuring the iconic three stripes prominently on the shoulders.

While the previous Jako kits gained attention for their unique looks and the poignant presentation near the club's destroyed ground, the switch to Adidas brings a classic and recognizable feel to FC Chernihiv's on-pitch apparel for the upcoming campaign.
