Here Is What Inspired The Leaked Nike South Korea 2020 Kit (With All-New Logo)
Already some days ago, the pictures of South Korea's 2020 home kit have been leaked. Today we want to find out what inspires the South Korea 2020 kit with the all-new federation crest.
South Korea 2020 Kit Inspired By Taegukgi (South Korean flag)
The design of the South Korea 2020 home jersey is inspired by the flag of the country, which is known as Taegeukgi, and, in particular, the four black trigrams of it.
The flag of South Korea, also known as the Taegukgi (also spelled as Taegeukgi, lit. "Taegeuk flag"), has three parts: a white rectangular background, a red and blue Taegeuk in its center, and four black trigrams one toward each corner.
The trigrams represent movement and harmony as fundamental principles. Each trigram represents one of the four classical elements (earth, water, air and fire).
