Here Is What Inspired Manchester United 20-21 Third Kit - Kit "Bolder Than Any Thing The Industry Has Ever Seen"
In early March 2020, we leaked that the Adidas Manchester United 2020-21 third jersey will boast a striking 'Dazzle Camo' look. Now we are able to reveal what is the inspiration of the Manchester United 20-21 3rd kit.
Man Utd 20-21 Third Kit Inspired By Club's Different Striped Jerseys
The Adidas Manchester United 20-21 third football shirt will boast a 'dazzle camo stripes' all-over print in white and black. The design is inspired by the kits with stripes Man Utd used during their club history, including the alternative shirts from 1910, 1936 and 1994.
Man Utd had a blue / white striped kit in 1910, a black / white striped kit in 1936 and blue / white kit with stripes in 1994. The 1936 and one of their 170-1980 away kit was taken as inspiration for the color.
In fact, newspaper The Mirror already revealed that the Man Utd 20-21 third kit will have a classic striped kit as inspiration.
An Adidas insider allegedly said: "Shirt designers are always looking at ways to pay their respect to the club's past. Black and white have always featured heavily in United's home and away kits so it will also fit in with the club's tradition."
Additionally, we can reveal that Adidas describes the new Man United 2020-21 third strip as "bolder than anything the industry has ever seen".

NYC Mayor Zohran Mamdani Wears Arsenal Kit Inspired Kurta at Eid al-Adha
New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani attended Eid al-Adha prayers in the Bronx wearing a kurta based on Arsenal's 2025-26 away shirt. The longtime Arsenal supporter chose the traditional tunic for the Wednesday celebration.
The garment replicates the navy blue design with red lightning bolt patterns from the club's away kit and includes the Emirates Fly Better sponsor logo. Photographs of the outfit circulated widely on social media after the event.
Mamdani, who has supported Arsenal since childhood, combined his fandom with the Muslim holiday observance in the city he leads.
