Mbappe Cover Star? Playstation 5 & Xbox Series X: Next-Gen FIFA 21 Trailer + Info + Screenshots

Update: PSG superstar Kylian Mbappé will be the cover star of FIFA 21 according to French PSG insiders Culture PSG. The report suggests that Mbappé has been chosen ahead of teammate Neymar.

EA just released the first trailer showcasing the upcoming FIFA 21 (as well as Madden 21), alongside a small selection of 4K screenshots.

Besides the trailer and screenshots, EA also confirmed that owners of FIFA 21 on PS4 or Xbox One would get a free upgrade to the Playstation 5 or Xbox Series X version. This is called 'Dual Entitlement'.

Dual Entitlement will also enable players to carry over their progress in Ultimate Team and Volta Football.

FIFA 21 Release Date

FIFA 21 will be released for PS4, Xbox One and PC on October 9, 2020.

The release date of the next-gen Playstation 5 and Xbox Series X versions is not known yet - but EA has confirmed that it will be released before the end of the year. An exact date will be announced later.
