The Bayern München 2020-21 home kit was launched by the club and technical sponsor Adidas on June 10, the day of the match. The shirt boasts the club's traditional red and white colors, as decided by fans who did not want other colors than red and white for Bayern's jersey.
Frankfurt, meanwhile, wore a special version of their 2019-2020 away shirt with the lettering #blacklivesmatter (with the sponsor logo indeed next to it) to support the fight against racism.
