Coventry City 20-21 Third Kit Released

Coventry City's new 20-21 third shirt was released today. It is made by Hummel and will be worn in next season's Championship campaign.

The Coventry City 20-21 third strip celebrates Coventry being named the city of culture 2021 within the UK.

This is the Coventry City 2020-21 third jersey, made by Hummel.

Featuring a checkered look, the Hummel Coventry City 2020-2021 third football shirt combines a white base with sky blue and navy checkers. The sleeves are solid white with the trademark sky blue chevrons.

The Hummel Coventry City 20-21 third jersey and its design are directly inspired by the UK City of Culture branding. It features a jet engine, the bicycle wheel and the 5G symbol within the checkers. The skyline of Coventry sits on the lower back, while portraits of former key players grace the inner neck.

Coventry City Chief Executive Dave Boddy said: “As fans now expect, we’ve added some extra touches to make the the Hummel Coventry City 20-21 third football shirt even more unique and a celebration of the City and our vital role in the City as its finest and most famous sporting Club – including the City skyline on the back and photos of some Coventry City legends inside the shirt too.”

Laura McMillan, Director of Operations and Legacy at Coventry City of Culture Trust, said: “The Sky Blues play such an important part in Coventry’s identity so working with them on the 20/21 third shirt has long been our ambition. The fans’ passion for the city is what Coventry’s year as UK City of Culture is all about, celebrating and having pride in this extraordinary place we call home.”

Available since November 27, the Coventry City 2020-2021 third strip retails at £47.
