Arsenal's Maitland-Niles Wears Odd-Looking 'Full Kit Suit'

Arsenal's Ainsley Maitland-Niles got people talking on social media wearing an odd-looking kit x undershorts combo in yesterday's West Bromwich vs Arsenal Premier League match.

A heavy snow storm took control of the Midlands yesterday evening, meaning that it was not sure if the West Bromwich Albion and Arsenal game could take place. Temperatures in England are currently around the freezing point.

To protect against the cold (or to just have a better feeling), Ainsley Maitland-Niles was wearing long white performance undershorts as well as long white sleeves. Interestingly, he was not wearing gloves, so he did not seem to have a problem with cold hands.

What made his look odd was that he wore the socks very low, and that he was the only Arsenal player to wear long undershorts.

Arjen Robben is famous for his long undershorts

In training, it is normal for players to wear long performance undershorts, while it is something rarely seen in actual matches. The most famous player to wear long undershorts is Dutch legend Arjen Robben.
