Puma Chivas 115th Anniversary Kit Released

Confirming the earlier reports, Puma and Mexican club Chivas earlier today presented the new 115th anniversary shirt, which introduces a classy design featuring the club's iconic red and white stripes.

Chivas were founded on 8 May 1906 and the new design, which takes inspiration from classic shirts of the club, proved popular enough to sell out within a few hours.

Sold in a special box, the Chivas 115th Anniversary shirt is red with white stripes and a simple overlap v-collar. It's only available with long sleeves.

Similar to the 110th Anniversary shirt, released in 2016, the new Chivas jersey comes with a retro club chest. On the opposite side, Puma placed an old version of their logo, just like on the recent Borussia Dortmund special-edition shirt, applied in red-on-red.

Puma have become something of anniversary shirt experts in recently - having already launched similar editions for the likes of Gladbach, Manchester City and Milan. Puma also released a one-off jersey to celebrate Monterrey's 75th anniversary last June.

The Chivas 115th Anniversary shirt already got sold out since it was released online earlier today.
