LEAKED: Puma to Release Chivas 115th Anniversary Kit This Year

Wednesday, 13 January 2021
Puma will release a special-edition kit to celebrate the 115th anniversary of Mexican club Chivas, according to a video published by brand insider Gol de Sergio last night.

Chivas were founded on 8 May 1906, which will have been 115 years ago in a few months' time.

Puma will release a special-edition kit to celebrate that important day in club history - having already launched similar editions for the likes of Gladbach, Manchester City and Milan. Puma also released a one-off jersey to celebrate Monterrey's 75th anniversary last June.

The Puma Chivas 115th anniversary shirt will be predominantly red. As can be seen on the pictures shared by Gol de Sergio, there will be both a replica and a 'promo' (authentic) version of the shirt available to buy.

While only "Puma Red" is listed as a color for the shirt, it's most likely that it will have a striped design, since that is what the club have always used. That was also the look that Puma used for the 110th anniversary kit, which was released in 2016.

We can expect the Puma Chivas 115th anniversary shirt to be released in May 2021. It might also be released later than that - the 110th anniversary shirt was released in August, for example.
