EA Sports Announces Contract Extension With UEFA - Champions League & Europa League Only Licenced in FIFA
EA Sports has announced a partnership extension with UEFA stretching over several years today. This means that all UEFA club competitions will stay exclusively licenced in the FIFA series.
Initially, EA Sports and UEFA announced a partnership three years ago, before FIFA 19. This contract extension is a testament to the successful deal for both parties up until now.
Obviously, this means that the FIFA series keeps the exclusive rights to feature fully licenced UEFA club competitions in their game. Additionally, UEFA's club competitions will expand as the newly formed UEFA Europa Conference League will join UEFA Champions League, UEFA Europa League and UEFA Super Cup at the start of the 2021-22 campaign.
