New Balance To Stick To Traditional Design With AS Roma Kits
In a recent interview with news outlet Outpump, New Balance's Head of Calcio Italia branch Zoldan Ferrari talked about the brand's future plan in football. He also revealed some information regarding AS Roma next season's kits.
AS ROMA's NEW BALANCE KIT TO FEATURE TRADITIONAL DESIGN
Asked about potential design for Roma's next season kits, Ferrari said: "New technical sponsors either stay loyal or completely revolutionize the look of the uniforms. We are a company very linked to tradition and we have always followed this line working with Athletic Bilbao and Lille, so we will also do with Roma."
"If there is any demand coming from club to try something totally new, we will consider it. At the moment we keep ourselves focused on history."
Ferrari also revealed that there will be four uniforms in total for AS Roma: "I can't confirm that every club will have four jerseys, but surely that will happen for top teams, including Roma. The aim is to have an additional aesthetic option to create something that is related to the history of the team and the relationship with the fans."
"Our company has a lot of passion for football and especially for the moments that have been written in the history of this sport. In fact, we know how important the respect for these elements can be for fans. With the fourth shirt we want to celebrate the club, its history, the connection with the city and its people."
Additionally, like with other teams sponsored by New Balance, there will be club-related lifestyle products.
