Of course, some fans of Il Biscione (The Big Grass Snake) did not expect the move and bought the club's new home jersey with Lukaku #9 back printing before the transfer was official.
Unfortunately, Inter Milan does not offer a new football shirt or refund in this case, and those unlucky customers will have to live with a ruined football shirt. One supporter got creative and hastily adjusted his Inter Milan 20-21 home shirt with Lukaku #9 back printing.
To hide Lukaku's name this Inter supporter simply used transparent yellow tape on which he wrote the first three letters of 35-year old routinier Edin Džeko, the club's replacement for Romelu Lukaku.
