Nike Creates Custom Kit For Eintracht Frankfurt's Hinteregger

Nike have again created a custom collar for Eintracht Frankfurt captain Martin Hinteregger. Thanks to Christoph for making us aware.

Last season, Martin Hinteregger first cut off the collar before receiving a bespoke kit from Nike.

The custom collar worn by Martin Hinteregger ditches the Polo element of the original collar. Instead, he is wearing a tapered, ribbed Korean collar design. In terms of construction, the collar appears to be the same as last season.

What is noteworthy is that Nike already started to provide golf players with non-Polo collars for a better fit with no distractions in 2016. One of the first Nike golf players to wear the new MM Fly Polo golf jersey was McIlroy.

“I wanted a great fitting polo,” McIlroy said. “I wanted something I could pull on at the beginning of my round and not think about again until after the last putt.”

In the 21-22 season, Nike only released a few kits with a Polo collar. Some of the few Nike kits with a Polo collar are Liverpool's 21-22 away and Inter Milan's 21-22 third jerseys.
