FIFA To Launch Own Football Game?

EA Sports will very likely rename their famous FIFA video game series to EA Sports FC. This will end a long commercial partnership with FIFA, the international governing body of association football, (Fédération Internationale de Football Association). Now the football governing body FIFA has responded to EA.
FIFA Release Statement About Gaming & eSports Portfolio
On Friday, one day after EA Sports published their official statement about ending their deal with FIFA, FIFA have themselves posted a statement on their website.
FIFA already have launched a FIFAe brand
In the statement, football governing body FIFA is hinting that they could develop their very own football game. They would be "in discussions with various industry players, developers, investors and analysts".
FIFA also say that the "future of gaming and eSports for football stakeholders must involve more than one party controlling and exploiting all rights".
Recently, FIFA launched a FIFAe brand. The logo consists of the famous FIFA lettering and a futuristic e below it.
