AS Saint-Étienne and Le Coq Sportif have launched a tribute shirt celebrating the legacy of legendary former player Loïc Perrin, who ended his career in 2020.

In addition to unveiling the shirt, Saint-Etienne have also announced that Perrin's old number 24 will be retired and not used again in the future.

The Le Coq Sportif Saint-Etienne Loïc Perrin tribute shirt celebrates the club legend Loïc Perrin, who is now the club's ambassador.

As expected, the design of the jersey is inspired by the special jersey worn by ASSE in the French Cup final in 2020.

Beyond that, the design tells the history of Perrin's extraordinary career that spanned a total of 17 seasons at the club. Details include illustrations of Perrin celebrating his first goal for the club in 2005 as well as the 2013 Coupe de la Ligue title. The names of all 205 team-mates of Perrin appear inside the number 24 on the back.

That was also Loïc Perrin's last match for the club. Although it ended way too early for him as he received a red card for a brutal tackle on Mbappe in the 1st half.

Only 470 units, Perrin's total appearance for Saint-Etienne, will be available for purchase. A private event will be held on 24/11/2021 for the first 24 (Perrin's number) buyers of the shirt. The Le Coq Sportif Saint-Etienne Loïc Perrin tribute shirt retails at €99. It's already sold out, just a few hours after it was launched.
